Canada’s language immersion programs

Explore is an intensive language immersion program offered each year by La Cité. If you want to learn English or French and improve your ability to communicate while discovering Canada’s capital city, the Explore La Cité program is for you!

This summer, live the experience with La Cité in the heart of the national capital!

5-week Full time French immersion program. In addition to language classes, participate in interactive and engaging social and cultural activities that will build your confidence in communicating in French... Oui, vous pouvez parler en Français et nous pouvons vous aider à le faire !

As part of our Summer program, you will be able to attend language classes, participate in engaging on-campus and off-campus activities, and have fun in conversation workshops with people from all across Canada. Our credit language courses are taught by dynamic and experienced teachers.

Explore La Cité is an AVAN program (Bring Your Own Digital Device).

June 27 to July 31,2025

English immersion program
June 30 to August 1^st, 2025

How Much Does It Cost?

The program itself is free by
applying for a scholarship at Explore.

Registration fees: $275
(non-refundable) per participant.

Am I Eligible For The Scholarship?

To be eligible, you must meet the following funding criteria:

Have Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status ^[1]

Be 19 years of age or older when the Explore program begins

Have been a part-time or full-time student for at least one term during the current school year

There are no language skill requirements. If you meet the above criteria, you may be eligible for a place funded by the Government of Canada

[1] People who hold a visa to study in Canada are not eligible.
